My Lifetime

A poem

Me, 2021

Bury me in springtime
For I am the roses and thorns
Cheers, to the joy I found with you
I hope not to become an object of scorn

I hope you found me lovely
Rate my time with you a 5 out of 5
I was surrounded by your energy
You kept me in drive
