Fabric ripped at the seams
Seek truth and yet it pierces me
A peaceful sleep I drift towards
Nightmares find me all the same
Toss and turn in the sheets between lies
Give me lust and pour my wine
Are you so different?
Or so the same that I find comfort knowing
You will try to ruin me
One smile at a time
Whatever you decide,
I’ll remain tormented
Yet the world keeps me together
One kind stranger’s compliment at…
